The Rock Mission Center in Eagle River was established in 2013 as a home for Christian Ministries. Ten (10) churches and twenty (20) community businesses and organizations do ministry there.
One ministry is Northwoods Share’s Community Dinners. On December 19th, the Community Dinner enjoyed entertainment by the Madrigal Singers of Northland Pines High School. There were yummy appetizers including garlic cheesy pull apart Christmas Trees. Volunteers from Howard Young Hospital served up a tasty ham and baked potato dinner. Over 150 people attended.
Father Jim Fosdick, Executive Director of the Rock, said the dinners bring food pantry recipients and the community at large together in Christian fellowship.
