Funds received support our domestic and international missions outreach, our local Karen and Hispanic parishes, and provide grants for local parishes to engage in outreach activities.

PAY IT FORWARD...In just one day, we could raise enough money to supply our diocesan missions budget, both domestic and international -- and we can do it with your help!
Today is #GivingTuesday! A day set aside to turn our attention to those in need. A day to pause in the present buying frenzy to think of others in need. If you have been blessed in your life, be a blessing to others today! If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. I John 3:17, 18. |
Thoughtful GivingThe Diocese of Quincy has prepared this booklet to provide general information about the various ways you can accomplish your charitable goals during your lifetime and also in the future through estate planning. We hope that it will encourage you to live generously and provide for the work of God’s Kingdom through your home parish and the Diocese of Quincy.
Generosity is central to our Christian faith. “We love because He first loved us” (John 4:19) and we give because He gave His only Son for our salvation. Few decisions are more important than deciding how to use the resources God has given us today (stewardship) and how those resources will be distributed in the future (estate planning). To view or download a copy of our Thoughtful Giving brochure, click here: Thoughtful Giving Brochure If you would like a printed copy(s) mailed to you, just contact Gayle Heatherington at gayleheatherington@gmail.com. Employer Matching Gift programsMany employers have matching gift programs where they will make a matching contribution to a charity of your choice. Some also reward employee volunteer hours with a cash donation. You may use the tool below to search for the company you work for to see if they have a matching program.
