International Mission

Go into all the world...

We’re a diocese on mission, following Jesus’ command to “go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15).

Growing God’s Kingdom in Colombia

A priest in Colombia found our diocese during COVID and wanted to join. Since then our relationship with Colombian clergy blossomed into church planted, theological training, mission projects, and the formation of a deanery with more than 2 dozen resident clergy.

The Diocese of Quincy in Colombia

This deanery is comprised of clergy and congregations throughout Colombia—and one priest and church in Venezuela.

Mission Colombia

Mission Colombia is an administrative mission group focused on project like feeding one meal each day to children in the village of Buenas Aires Zorras.

Mission & Relief Work in Myanmar

Our longstanding relationship began with welcoming refugees from Myanmar into our diocese.  Our diocese’s formal relationship with the Province of Myanmar was established in 2019 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, solidifying our commitment to support and fellowship.

Thanks to the generosity of our diocese, our work in Myanmar includes

  • Construction projects for St Andrew’s Orphanage
  • Food and clothing for thousands of IDPs (Internally Displaced People) in remote areas of the Karen State.
  • Christmas presents
  • Financial support for teachers and retired clergy
  • Funds for rebuilding projects after earthquakes and floods

Your monthly support is essential right now because of the political situation in Myanmar after the 2021 military coup.

Diocese of Hpa An is our sister diocese in the Province of Myanmar, and the majority of the financial support goes there.

Extending mission into Thailand

The Diocese of Hpa An has historically included what is now Thailand. One group of churches in that diocese are known as Karen Anglican Missions at the Border or KAMB.

Our diocese provides scholarships for two schools in Thailand who have refugee students from Myanmar. In addition, online instruction is also given to the students at Anglican Language and Computer Center in the Mae La refugee camp.

In 2025 a generous donor helped KAMB purchase a much needed new truck by providing at least half the money. This incredible gift allows the missionaries to deliver food, clothing, liturgical and educational materials to remote areas that are inaccessible without four-wheel drive.

Church Planting in Monterrey

The Anglo-Catholic community of San Jose de Arimatea, led by Father Gabriel Monrreal, is not only committed to serving the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, they are raising up new clergy and planting new congregations.

AMOR (Anglican Mission, Outreach, & Relief) is a collective of diocesan missionaries.

AMOR”s focus is two-fold: pastoral ministry outside of the United States and the training and formation of others in the diocese whom God calls to mission.

We go in peace to love and serve the Lord
